Coed Snorkel Social with Everyday CA
This month I’ll be switching my hiking meetup for an ocean activity. There’s no better way to spend a summer day in San Diego than at the beach! We live in one of the best coastal cities on the west coast- let’s take advantage!
On Saturday August 24th, I’ll be hosting a Coed Snorkel Social with Everyday CA. Join me on this 90 minute excursion in La Jolla Shores to search for leopard sharks. Typically, July- mid September is the best time to see these friendly ocean animals. They come to La Jolla Shores specifically for the warm, shallow water. They hang out just off the coast in search for food and a mate.
If the weather and ocean conditions are in our favor we’ll be able to see them and a couple other resident ocean animals. While I cannot guarantee we’ll see these amazing animals, this time of year is typically our best chance at getting close to them.

Optional Coffee and Chat 8:30am:
For those interested I’ll be hosting a “coffee and chat” an hour before our check in time (8:30 am-9:30 am) if you’d like to come hang before we get in the water. All details to come in the reminder email.
Note on Parking:
Parking in La Jolla Shores can be very difficult. It’s residential parking only and it’s the middle of summer. Please allow yourself 20 minutes to find parking and walk to the shop to check in. As always if you have any pressing questions, feel free to email me or send me a message on Instagram.
