April Sunset Hike (Women Only)
This one is for the ladies!
Let’s get together Sunday, April 13th to watch the sun drop from the highest point in the city of San Diego. We’ll be hiking Cowles Mountain to catch some of the best sunset views in America’s finest city. Here’s your chance to find your summer backpacking buddy.
It’s a short but steady climb to the 1,593-foot (486 m) summit that gets your heart rate up and legs moving. The panoramic views are worth the workout.
This is one of the most popular hikes in San Diego, so expect to share the trail with other weekend hikers. The trail is exposed, so come prepared with sun protection and water. We’ll take our time heading up, snap some summit pics at the top, and enjoy the views before hiking back down.
Please plan on arriving 10–15 minutes early to find parking and meet up at the trailhead.
