February Coed Hiking Social- Lake Hodges Overlook
I’m so excited to host my first hiking meetup of 2026! These free meetups are the heart and soul of what I do. I love building an outdoorsy community in San Diego and can’t wait to meet you on the trail. I started Go Hiking San Diego in 2020 to inspire people to spend more time outdoors. I’ve met so many people who love to hike, but don’t have friends who share that same love for the outdoors. This is your chance to meet like minded people in the area and connect with new and old friends. Bring a friend or come solo and meet new ones. Please note this hike is not for beginners as there’s a good amount of elevation gain/ incline.

Due to limited parking, registrations are capped at 15 people. Please carpool if you can and plan to arrive 15 minutes early to find parking. This trail does get busy on the weekends. The main parking lot by the trailhead opens right at 8am and typically fills within 10-15 minutes. There’s only about 15 parking spaces in this lot. The overflow parking lot will have more spaces available and there’s limited street parking on the side of the main road.
